This picturesque and atmospheric 12th Century self-catering cottage originally part of the Benedictine Priory is the ideal base for a relaxing break.  It is attached to the main house with a shared garden.  The Old Priory B&B and self-catering Cottage are located in Priory Green opposite the dovecote, north of St George’s Church by the Tithe Barn. There is a private courtyard hidden behind a fig tree, with table and chairs, pot plants and also a private access to St Georges Church walled garden.  NB The church clock chimes on the hour!!!

Hidden from the road, this charming historic house, is part of a very special setting, and was built in the 12th century as a small Benedictine priory. The extensive gardens are delightfully tranquil. The house is attached to St. Georges church at one corner, with private access to its’ lovely memorial garden.

Bicycles etc. can be stored in a small barn next to the cottage.  A small drying area is also available.

Earwig is a friendly dog, who lives in the house with Jane.
